| LUNGE
The lunge is the best overall leg shaping exercise. It is also useful for sports requiring running, such as soccer, basketball, & track.
1. Begin with your feet togther standing upright.
2. Step forward with one foot, at least 2' in front of the other.
3. Reach with the back knee, making a 90 degree angle in both the front & back leg.
4. Push through the front heel. (DO NOT let the front knee go over the toes.)
5. Push off the front leg & return to the starting position.
6. REPEAT with the other leg.
VARIATIONS: front lunges, alternating lunges, reverse lunges, walking lunges, diagonal lunges
